LactoHelix is a new innovative synbiotic developed by a research team led by Prof. Albert Krastanov from the University of Food Technologies, Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
LactoHelix is an all-natural complex synbiotic preparation for a complete solution to the problems of the gastrointestinal tract.
Active ingredients:
- Lyophilized snail extract (Helix Aspersa);
- Probiotic bacteria;
- Prebiotic (inulin).
Snail extract:
- Snail extract contains antibacterial and antiviral peptides and proteins, glycolic acid, collagen types 1 and 2, elastin, vitamins A, C, E, various minerals, copper, zinc, iron and more.
- Snail extract has specific antimicrobial properties.
- Destroys bacteria Escherichia coli, staphylococci and others that often cause inflammation.
- Due to the presence of a number of peptides exhibiting antibacterial properties, snail extract can be successfully used in combination with antibiotic therapy against infections caused by Helicobacter pylori.
- It acts as a natural antibiotic, and unlike drugs, it does not develop resistance.
With its complex properties, snail secretion has a beneficial effect on inflamed gastric mucosa, ulcers and wounds in the stomach, as well as on the entire digestive tract and stimulates the immune system.
Probiotic bacteria:
- Probiotic bacteria maintain and regulate the bacterial balance of the microflora of the gastrointestinal tract in dysbacteriosis, diarrhea, gastrointestinal infections, after treatment with antibiotics, as well as in the prevention of complications due to antibiotics, in disorders of the digestive system (swelling of the stomach, heartburn, flatulence, constipation, damage to the intestinal mucosa, lactose intolerance).
- With regular use, the product normalizes the immune system, reduces allergic reactions, suppresses the development of putrefactive bacteria, reduces the increased gas formation in the intestines, lowers the levels of bad cholesterol.
Prebiotic (inulin):
- Inulin is extracted from the roots of chicory.
- Inulin promotes the development of beneficial bacteria of the genus Bifidus in the colon.
